Types of Sprint LTE Devices

Sprint LTE Devices are different to activate based on the type of SIM Card compatible with the Device Model.  Each Sprint LTE Model is one of the following:

  • Embedded SIM-  The original Sprint LTE Models have embedded SIM (ICC ID).  This means the SIM Card is non-removable and is part of the Device.
  • Removable SIM- The newer Sprint LTE Models have a removable SIM Card (ICC ID).  This means the SIM Card is removable and is required for both Device Activation and for LTE Service.  Please do not remove the SIM Card from Device.  You may not be able to activate your device on Red Pocket CDMA-S if you are missing the original Sprint SIM Card that came with the Device
