Ice Cream Sandwich

The Description and Values below ae basic settings for all phones running on Android 4+ Ice Cream Sandwich.

Not all phones will have the exact same decription. Please enter the value that corresponds to your phone brand.

Scroll down below to find your phone brands most basic instructions on how to manually edit settings. Should your phone not be listed, please refer to your phones manual or manufacturer for assistance. Updates and additional phone brand will be added soon.

Make sure "Use Packet Data" is ticked/checked on under Mobile Networks.

Data Roaming should be off or unchecked.

 

Generic Instructions for Samsung handsets



Go to Wireless and Networks Settings
Select Mobile Networks
Go to Access Point Names
Press the menu soft key and select add New APN
Enter the values applicable to your phones respective fields.

 

Generic Instructions for HTC handsets

1. Click to the button to view All Apps at the bottom-left
2. Find and click Settings on the All Apps page
3. Find and click Wireless & Networks
4. Make sure Mobile Network is ticked and then click Mobile Networks
5. Click on Access Point Names
7. Click New APN
8. Click on each item and enter the values applicable to your phones respective fields.
9. When done, Click the Menu button below the screen and then Save
10. On the next screen, make sure Red Pocket Mobile is selected (Green mark next to its name)
If the settings have worked, a letter should appear at the top of your phone
(eg H or G etc depending on your coverage)

 

Generic Instructions for Motorola handsets

1. Go to Menu.
2. Open Settings.
3. Go to Wireless & networks.
4. Open Mobile networks.
5. Go to Access point names.
6. Select APN. The APN settings are displayed.
Enter the values applicable to your phones respective fields.

 

Generic Instructions for LG handsets

Go to your Android Home Screen and tap Menu, then Settings and go to
Wireless and Networks, then click APN (Access Point Name). Edit your
stored data and enter the values applicable to your phones respective fields.
